Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Branch Manager through the Relationship Manager, the Relationship Officer – Agribusiness will recruit and nurture new agribusiness deals, grow existing relationships, and manage the Bank’s business portfolio to enhance profitability while maintaining manageable risk levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and sustain new agribusiness relationships to drive asset and liability growth.
  • Manage an active pipeline to meet personal growth targets across product ranges and client segments.
  • Optimize client portfolios by promoting suitable product bundles to maximize revenue.
  • Negotiate and structure transactions to balance client value and Bank interests.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare high-quality credit proposals within set timelines.
  • Manage arrears vigilantly to maintain loan portfolio’s non-performing assets (NPA) within agreed parameters.
  • Enhance the Bank’s brand through excellent service, innovation, and customer responsiveness.
  • Maintain well-documented reports, visits, and contracts with Bank relationships and units.

Person Specifications:

  • Must be able to ride a motorcycle.
  • Willing to work anywhere Pride operates.
  • Computer literate, highly motivated, innovative, and a self-starter.
  • Excellent presentation, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Honest, trustworthy, with high integrity.
  • Not more than 40 years old.

Desired Competencies/Skills:

  • Critical thinking, analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Understanding of the banking environment.
