Job Details:
Workstations: National Referral Hospitals, Regional Referral Hospitals, MoH Departments, UBTS, and UVRI.
Job Purpose:
To dispense medicines and ensure the safe, effective, and affordable use of pharmaceuticals in healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and counsel patients on proper medication use.
- Manage drug inventory and storage.
- Monitor adverse drug reactions and drug utilization.
- Participate in procurement and distribution of essential medicines.
- Educate healthcare staff on pharmacology and drug policies.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacists: Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent, registration with the Pharmacy Council, valid practicing license.
- Pharmacy Technicians: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, registered with Allied Health Professionals Council.

4. It is emphasized that:
a) The application
should be completed and submitted ONLINE.
b) Only
shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
c) Shortlisted
candidates shall, where applicable, be required to bring their original
certificates, letters of appointment, three copies of completed PSF 3,
Registration Certificates and Valid Practicing Licenses and evidence of active
service, at the oral interview.
d) Candidates who will present forged certificates and
other documents shall be handed over to the Police for appropriate action.
e) Health Workers
who are on long-term training (one year and above) must not apply.
