Job Details:
Workstations: MoH Headquarters, Regional Referral Hospitals, KCCA Health Facilities, Kawempe Hospital, Mulago, and other designated centers.
Job Purpose:
To diagnose, treat, and manage patients in health facilities and support the delivery of curative, preventive, and promotive healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and manage patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Provide emergency medical care and refer complicated cases appropriately.
- Participate in ward rounds, surgical procedures, and medical audits.
- Document medical records and compile health service reports.
- Supervise clinical officers, nurses, and interns where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Must be registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
- Possession of a valid practicing license is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of working experience is an added advantage.

4. It is emphasized that:
a) The application
should be completed and submitted ONLINE.
b) Only
shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
c) Shortlisted
candidates shall, where applicable, be required to bring their original
certificates, letters of appointment, three copies of completed PSF 3,
Registration Certificates and Valid Practicing Licenses and evidence of active
service, at the oral interview.
d) Candidates who will present forged certificates and
other documents shall be handed over to the Police for appropriate action.
e) Health Workers
who are on long-term training (one year and above) must not apply.
