Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client Mr. Green Africa, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Junior Buying Clerk to work in Uganda.

Job Purpose:
The Junior Clerk’s job is to ensure that the Trading Point runs efficiently on all working days serving the MGA Suppliers with speed, protocol and accuracy as per set Operating Guidelines using tools provided to work within scope. Operating the trading point cash account and Mobile payment (equivalent) requests and accurately calculates prices based on operating processes to help ensure trading point earnings are accurate and suppliers are served. Ensuring bought recyclables are weighed, packed, and meet MGA packing guidelines and preparing for dispatch. The role requires you to ensure that housekeeping in your workstation is at optimum levels and provide support in any other working operations set out by MGA Management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supplier Experience & Relations: Interact with all suppliers to build a customer relationship that is aimed at building loyalty and retention. Represent MGA as the brand ambassador in the Community where the store is located to keep a positive relationship with all partners, stakeholders and communities around the area of operations.
• Quality Control: Purchasing recyclable plastic from the Suppliers as per the Product & Price
• Guidelines as well as ensuring that all Quality Control measures are observed with a maximum threshold of 2% waste in total plastic bought.
• Retail Store Operations: Keep within the set guidelines and protocols for Cash Management in the store whether in hard currency or on the digital platform (Mpesa Equivalent); whilst being accountable for all the cash floats issues and reconciliation of the same to match purchases and disbursements to suppliers. Ensure that all stock is accountable for from point of purchase to stock take (being accountable for all stocks bought at the store at all times), in order to avoid company loses.
• Logistics: Managing dispatch of purchased recyclables in collaboration with the Operations Manager as and when the transfer threshold has been achieved. Ensure that all stock received and dispatched is accounted for and signed off prior to transfer.
• Health and Safety: Observe and be responsible for and in-charge of all Health & Safety Protocols at the Retail Store to ensure that the MGA safety standards are achieved.
• Communication: Ensuring all information that is meant to be passed on to suppliers reaches them by word of mouth or through emphasizing reading of posters placed in the trading point.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Requirements:
• Business / Community Development Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of experience
• Computer literacy is an added advantage..

• Good command of both English and Swahili Language
• Ability to interact with diverse cultures and people of different social class
• Ability to handle difficult situations respectfully with patience and calmness to reach amicable solutions within a short time
• Ability to work with numbers and manage data
• Ability to work responsibly with accuracy and minimal supervision whilst being attentive to big and small detail in the workplace.
• Supplier Management & Conflict resolution skills
• Agile and Proactive in the workplace
• Ability to change duty stations as agreed from time to time
• Ability to work in a digital environment using Apps and Digital Phones and Tools of work
• Ability to work under pressure both physically and mentally
• Flexibility to work extended working hours, weekends and holidays when the need arises.
• Ability to use smart phone is a MUST
