Job Details:

Job Summary
• To spearhead the growth of the Employee Banking unit, increasing profitability and growing market share through creating and managing effective relationships that facilitate the growth of the Asset, Deposits & Wealth management Portfolio.
• Uphold EB corporate value propositions and formulate sales processes and service models working in collaboration with Segment, products, and credit policy teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Drive implementation and execution of the Employee Banking strategic priorities geared towards strengthening relationships with focus Employee banking schemes with the objective to grow penetration
Business
• MIS accuracy and discipline
• Effective resources allocation, capacity and cost management linked to participation model and related product / segment strategy and focus
• Ensure an effective and competitive fixed to variable, quantitative to qualitative compensation scheme across sales teams and levels.
• Periodic review with stakeholders on the NTB Channels deliverables and effectiveness
Processes
• Create customized corporate offers including corporate value proposition, Segment based offers, balance transfer and payroll transfer programs
• Plan and execute of on-site corporate events and seminars, corporate campaigns and evaluate sales effectiveness
• Install Corporate sales/service desks, execute periodic digital service camps
• Monitor competition activities, offer and offer differentiated value propositions as per corporate requirements
• Ensure strong EB bundle proposition and drive upfront EB bundling targets
• Implement corporate portals, execute digital campaigns
• Drive sales process for corporate on boarding, employee a/c opening and fulfillment
• Support and execute cross border mandates for key clients like MNC’s, consulates working with group EB and country CI teams, and lead the implementation post winning the account
• Ensure strong referrals to other CR teams for deepening opportunities
People and Talent
• Owner of the Employee banking Channel
• Energize the team to positively to deliver the best results
• Implement effective HR standards and strategies, manage succession plan, retain key talent and constant discipline in performance management
• Engage Learning Academy to address training needs, implement training roadmaps
• Achieve desired “MyVoice” scores
Governance
• Ensure that Employee Banking is 100% in compliance with rules and regulations, ensure adherence to operational risk controls and procedures in day-to-day management
• Ensure EB’s discipline in HR related matters, Operational Risk standards, zero tolerance on risk and compliance breaches
• Implement processes to prevent mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud and adhere to customer data confidentiality principles.
• Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements, reflect best practices
• Achieve satisfactory audit rating, ensure no adverse findings in internal / external audit, governance, compliance and GIA reviews
• To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer

Qualifications
Education
• Relevant tertiary education in areas of Marketing and Business Management
Training
• In-depth knowledge in all Retail Banking products.
• In-depth knowledge in Banking practices, regulations and credit policies.
• High level of technical competencies in,
o Competitor awareness
o Customer segmentation / requirements
o Training, presentation and selling skills
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Retail Banking
