What you will do:
• Manage the full life cycle of Fido employees in Uganda
• Lead recruitment process. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure we meet their hiring needs and goals
• Source and attract candidates for current and future positions using creative and diverse sourcing methods
• Screen and interview candidates against position specifications and provide in-depth feedback about the candidates
• Focus on onboarding, engaging, growing, and developing our people, as well as implementing cross-organizational global HR processes to the Fido Uganda team.
• Lead HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, life events etc.
• Design and deliver targeted solutions in a dynamic environment, including engagement, performance management, talent management, recognition, change management and team building.
• Headcount tracking, training and development and to ensure cultural alignment.
• Help promote an enjoyable and exciting workplace to retain employees.
• Ensure HR systems are up-dated, and able to leverage insights based on data to assess and impact the business units.
• Lead team building activities and employee experience initiatives
What you'll bring to the table:
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager / HRBP
• At least 3 years of recruitment experience
• Experience working in a global company
• Familiarity with Uganda labor laws
• Prior experience recruiting for rapidly growing organizations
• Vast knowledge of HR process.
• Pleasant, kind, dedicated and hardworking personality
• Great communication skills and customer service
• Intellectually curious, self-motivated and an independent learner
• Experience working with HRIS and ATS (we currently use BambooHR)
• Solid experience working with LinkedIn recruiter
• Verbal and written skills in English
