Job Title: System Application Developer
Department: ICT
Reports to: Senior Database and Core Banking Application Administrator

Job Summary:
• The T24 System Application Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the T24 system application used by Tropical Bank. They will collaborate with the Senior Database Administrator and other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the T24 system and its integration with other banking systems. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the T24 system application according to the bank's requirements and industry best practices.
2. Collaborate with the Senior Database Administrator to ensure seamless integration between the T24 system and the bank's databases.
3. Design, code, and test new features and functionalities within the T24 system.
4. Perform system upgrades and apply patches to keep the T24 system up-to-date and secure.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the T24 system, including identifying and fixing bugs.
6. Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
7. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT staff, including training and documentation.
8. Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to ensure efficient operation of the T24 system.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the T24 system with other banking applications and systems.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in T24 system development and banking technology.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a T24 System Application Developer or similar role in a banking or financial institution.
• In-depth knowledge of the T24 system and its modules, including but not limited to Core Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Retail Banking.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or COBOL, along with experience in scripting languages like Shell or Perl.
• Experience with T24 system customization, configuration, and deployment.
• Proficiency in Oracle or MS SQL Server database management systems.
• Familiarity with integration methodologies and tools for connecting the T24 system with other applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
