Job Details:
Kalungu District is a district in Central Uganda. It is named after the main town of the district, Kalungu, where the district headquarters are located.

Kalungu District is bordered by Gomba District to the north, Butambala District to the north-east, Mpigi District to the east, Masaka District to the south, and Bukomansimbi District to the west. The district headquarters, Kalungu, are 21 kilometres (13 mi), by road, north-east of the city of Masaka, the largest metropolitan area in the sub-region.[1]
Overview
Kalungu District was created by Act of Parliament, carved from Masaka District.[2] The district began functioning on 1 July 2010.[3]
Population
In 1991, the national population census estimated the district population at 152,030. The 2002 national census put the population at approximately 160,700. As of July 2012, the population was estimated at 177,200.[4]
Application procedure
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacancy that exist in Kalungu District Local Government. Application Forms PSC (Form 3, Revised 2008) should be addressed to the Secretary, Kalungu District Service Commision, P.O Box 1350, Masaka.
The Closing date of receiving applications is 21/8/2023. Application forms are obtainable at District Service Commissions Offices Country wide and at Public Service Commision Offices, Kampala or can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission Website www.psc.go.ug. You are urged to refer to the Scheme of service for relevant cadre and Job description for 2011 & 2017 from Ministry of Public Service.
Applications should be filled in tripricate accompanied by three passport size photographs, copies of all relevant Certificates/Passlips/Transcripts and should indicate the Job title, Reference Number, Telephone Contact, email and postal addresses. Serving Officers should route their applications through the Responsible Officer who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
