JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Develop and implement ICT security of networks, servers and applications that is in line with Pride’s ICT policy and respond to security events and alerts to ensure the stable operations of the organisation’s IT system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure implementation of periodic revision of IT security strategy, policies and standards as per the business requirements.
• Ensure the security and safety of corporate databases and IT infrastructure against viruses, hackers and intruders.
• Develop, maintain, review and regularly update ICT Policies.
• Oversee the regular update and maintenance of the registers of physical access to the bank server rooms at all times, showing the times and dates staff and non-staff enter and leave the server rooms.
• Supervise the selection, acquisition and maintenance of current, cost effective and appropriate security technology products for network, systems and data.
• Plan, design and carry out testing of the disaster recovery plan (DRP).
• Participate in the selection, acquisition and maintenance of current, cost effective and appropriate security technology products for network, systems and data.

• Set up and maintain security measures within the Organisation, including regularly reviewing all Pride systems users in compliance with the IT.
• Monitor and manage an end point/host security system on all Pride Computers.
• Be up to date with emerging security trends, risks, new guidelines or standards (internal and external) and security enhancing technologies.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/IT or any other relevant/related field.
• Professional IT security certifications such as CISSP/GIAC/SSCP/ CISA.
• Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCNP & Certified Ethical Hacker are added advantage.
Experience:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a related environment.
