Job Summary:
Contribute to ensuring that motors, portable electrical tools and estates electrical installations are
efficiently well maintained and serviced at optimum cost and in compliance with the OH&S
regulations.

Roles and responsibilities
• (Electrical Maintenance Operations) Carryout robust trouble shooting of motor failures in
the Plant, repair of portable electrical tools, repair of estate electrical failures with high
precision. Records anomalies observed on the motors and portable electrical tools during
maintenance or daily checks. Contributes to the analysis of motor failures & problems,
recommending best corrective actions. Performs trial of equipment after every maintenance
activity. Ensures timely readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns
as programmed.
• (Electrical Maintenance Operations) Execute weekly work orders according to preventive
maintenance plans or scheduled corrective maintenance actions. Participate in
development of execution Job Plans for all maintenance activities he/she is involved in.
Proposes & executes cost reduction initiatives to extend Electrical life of the motors and
portable tools.
• (Management – Planning & Cost control) Support the Electrical Engineer in the control
of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning and follow-up on key tasks & costs through
executing effective solutions to achieve budget and to meet or exceed targets for the
assigned equipment.
• (Standards) Comply with regulations, company goals, Rules, local permits, policies and
procedures; optimize the internal processes and structures.
• (OH&S and Environment) Electrical supervisor to Guarantee compliance with OH&S and
environment policies. Comply with all health, safety & environment procedures to ensure
zero harm and zero environment impact. Contribute to workshop cleanliness.


Educational Requirements
• Should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education / experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience dealing with motor repairs, welding machines, and portable electrical
tools.
• Experience in rewinding of Low voltage motors, servicing and maintenance of medium
voltage motors
• Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools
• Must have strong knowledge of Industrial Electrical tasks (Electrical troubleshooting,
Industrial installation and wiring, Machines and drives) preferred.

Other requirements:
• Understand cement manufacturing process.
• Understand characteristics & properties of cement and intermediate products.
• Knowledge of material transport equipment
• Knowledge of all parts of Crushers, Vertical roller mill, Ball mills, Rotary Kiln, De-dusting &
Packers
